My favorite thing about working at Invio is having great employees to work with and new customer challenges.

Being at Invio for 35 years, I am motivated by making the company successful.

The most memorable project that I have worked on is designing a rod insert machine on the drafting board about 30 years ago. The customer was under a lot of pressure and said that if it didn’t work, it would negatively impact his job. We solved his problem and the machine worked out great. Since then, they have been a repeat customer and we have made big improvements on new machines.

Since joining Invio 8 years ago, I’ve seen the company experience significant growth. The culture has continued to evolve through a strong team effort with everyone contributing to the success of our projects.

One of the most memorable projects that I’ve worked on was a large door carrier project. I had the opportunity to collaborate with my son as we transformed an empty building in Marine City, MI into a fully operational production assembly. Since then, we have outgrown that space, which has brought us to where we are today operating out of our New Baltimore, MI facility.

If I had to describe Invio in 3 words, it would be: Growing, Positive and Teamwork.

The team that I work with plays a big role in keeping me motivated, it is inspiring to be part of such a passionate and supportive team. I also genuinely believe in the work we do and the product we build. It is rewarding to know that our efforts directly improve our customer’ systems and help them bring their own products to life.

It is hard to choose one project that was the most memorable. Every project and AGV system we deliver is memorable in its own unique way. I enjoy seeing how our customers create their products and being part of the process, helping turn their automation vision into something that truly transforms their operations.

What I like most about working at Invio is that I get to collaborate with the team to solve problems and overcome challenges. I’ve learned a lot from my coworkers during my time at Invio, and this has made me a better engineer and project manager. Getting to be involved in nearly every step of the project process from design through acceptance testing keeps the job interesting and promotes collaboration with every department.
